Replays on TF2.
I've been messing around with the replay tool on TF2 lately, and I have to admit, I enjoy using it. There is scope for some masterpieces to come out of it. Being I did a media course in moving image and film before, I'm very interested in how I can use this with other footage I have.
And I love playing Pyro at the moment. The airblast is lovely. <3

FREE TO PLAAAAAY
CLICK IT AND PRACTISE MEDICINE, BOYS.
Pardon my late excitement, but this gives me more people to play against.
Also, Meet The Medic is finally out. Now all we need is Meet The Pyro...

The best TF2 video I have seen so far!
The display of skill is outstanding, and also the way this video is cut together is spectacular. It flows so smoothly, displaying action, fabulous shots and feats of skill.

Results of Pubs Vs Pro, video link included!
TGBF.tv has posted the footage of the Pubs Vs Pros Winter Wastland which is a fasinating watch. It's amzing to see how the pros use their techniques to overcome their opponents. If you want to become a better player, it's very important to see what the pros do. Watch replays of team matchs to get an idea of group strategy.
At the moment, I'm not in a team. So this is a shout out, I'd love to join a competitive TF2 team, with friendly members. Drop me a line if you need an extra member! I've played competitively for a few FPS's previously, so I have some experience!

TF2 Pub vs Pro, Christmas and Shopping
On the official site, they seem to be having a pub vs pro event where players in the public take on a team of professional TF2 players. I was wondering what the skill differences are going to be, and if anyone here plays professionally?
I completely missed the Christmas event, unfortunately. My desktop for gaming has decided to die, so I've been left TF2-less for about a month or two now. I'd like to hear some stories of what happened at Christmas, and what new items were found...
ALSO, I want a poll of opinions on the TF2 item store. I know many people stopped playing when they introduced it, but I also know of a few people who use it to buy the weapons they want for their class. I personally don't have any strong feelings about it, I can see how it'd be useful and also how it's an easy way of Valve to make their pockets a bit heavier...

Halloween update!
Did anyone play it? I managed to get all the achievements apart from crafting the Saxton Hale mask.
The Headless Horseless Horsemann was a bit odd, but kind of fun anyway. If you didn't play, he was basically like the ghost from last year, but he ran around with an axe and lopped off player's heads. Both teams would unite for a moment to kill him (he had about 3000 health), and then once he was destroyed, the game would carry on.

Update, and Saxton Store!
I'm sure all fans of TF2 have already seen this, but new sets of items are out for 5 classes: Soldier, Pyro, Scout, Sniper and Spy. And they all look so interesting! < That is a link to the item sets. Have a look! I really like the idea of the Spy's new knife. You can't disguise normally, but take the disguise of the last person you back stabbed!
